RF microneedling uses insulated microneedles to penetrate into the dermis and deliver a radiofrequency shot. The heat energy causes controlled damage in the area of application, triggering a repair response that produces new, fresh collagen over time and a thickening of the dermis.
Using tiny needles, radiofrequency energy is targeted down to the deeper dermal tissue. Unlike other skin resurfacing treatments such as laser and chemical peels, RF microneedling bypasses the skin’s outer layer for zero downtime.
TREAT A RANGE OF CONCERNS
RF microneedling can be used to target: fine lines and wrinkles, skin laxity, skin texture, nasolaibal folds, dull skin, acne and acne scarring.
A topical anesthetic cream is applied to ensure patient comfort during the treatment. Patients may feel a warm, scratching sensation as the miconeedles enter the skin, however the application of the numbing cream makes RF microneedling relatively pain free.

INTRAcel Pro uses microneedles
combined with radiofrequency to
tighten and resurface the skin
with minimal surface damage.
ULTRAcel 2 uses three modalities
in one device, including RF
microneedling, to target the
dermis layer in the skin.
INTRAcel uses microneedles
with radiofrequency for optimised
energy delivery, with minimal
skin surface damage.
